Objective:
The goal of ping pong (table tennis) is to score points by hitting the ball over the net onto your opponent’s side of the table in a way that they cannot return it.
Instructions
Setup:
Two or four players stand on opposite sides of the table.
Each player uses a paddle to hit the lightweight ball back and forth over the net.
The game starts with a serve, where the ball must bounce once on the server's side and then on the opponent’s side.
Taking Turns:
Players alternate hitting the ball after it bounces once on their side.
A point is scored when one player fails to return the ball, hits it out of bounds, or misses it completely.
Games are typically played to 11 points, and a player must win by at least 2 points.
Winning the Game:
The first player (or team) to reach 11 points with a 2-point lead wins the game.
Matches can be played as a single game or best-of series for added competition.
Game Tips:
Serve with control—mix up your spins and placement to keep your opponent guessing.
Stay light on your feet for quick side-to-side movement.
